چکیده
Cervical cancer tissue analysis has been carried out using Raman Spectroscopy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect differences in power level and exposure time on spectrum pattern that can be used as a standard distinguish normal cervical patterns. Diagnosing breast cancer using Raman spectroscopy: prospective analysis.
We present the first prospective test of Raman spectroscopy in diagnosing normal, benign, and malignant human breast tissues. Prospective testing of spectral diagnostic algorithms allows clinicians to accurately assess the diagnostic information contained in, and any bias of, the spectroscopic measurement. In previous work, we developed an accurate, internally validated algorithm for breast can...
متن کاملDiagnosing breast cancer by using Raman spectroscopy.
We employ Raman spectroscopy to diagnose benign and malignant lesions in human breast tissue based on chemical composition. In this study, 130 Raman spectra are acquired from ex vivo samples of human breast tissue (normal, fibrocystic change, fibroadenoma, and infiltrating carcinoma) from 58 patients. Data are fit by using a linear combination model in which nine basis spectra represent the mor...
متن کاملTissue oxygenation monitoring using resonance Raman spectroscopy during hemorrhage.
BACKGROUND The ability to monitor the patient of hemorrhage noninvasively remains a challenge. We examined the ability of resonance Raman spectroscopy to monitor tissue hemoglobin oxygenation (RRS-StO2) during hemorrhage and compared its performance with conventional invasive mixed venous (SmvO2) and central venous (ScvO2) hemoglobin oxygen saturation as well as with near-infrared spectroscopy ...
متن کاملA Review of Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy on Potential Clinical Applications Towards Diagnosing Colorectal Cancer
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the leading cancers in the world and early-screening is still the best method of cancer patient survival. However, colonoscopy as the current gold standard is not without flaws and an emerging technique called surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) coupled with machine learning is a possible candidate that could be applied in parallel with colonoscopy. This...
